IN A COLLAPSE OF THE EARTH assembles cross-disciplinary practices by artists and writers working across genre, discipline, and place to hold such inquiries within the geologic and geopolitical. Through sculpture, performance, video art, poetry, installation, drawing, and print, the show holds linguistic and multi-sensory inquiries into memory, embodiment, extraction, borders, and climate crisis.

This exhibition emerges from a 6-week online course, Geopoetics: Reading and Writing at Planetary Scale. Many pieces were born from the class and its prompts; some come from participants’ existing practices.
